Mid-Autumn Festival, when the family enjoys the moon. The 15th day of the lunar calendar is the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival of China. This is a festival symbolizing reunion.
On this day, the family will sit together, eat moon cakes, drink osmanthus wine, and enjoy the moon. But do you know the legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival?
Legend has it that  Chang’e   is the wife of Houyi, and after the squatting shot of nine suns, The Queen mother of the west  gave him the old elixir, but after he was not willing to eat it, he gave it to the custody. Afterwards, the disciples were plucked into the fairy medicine, forcing them to hand over the fairy medicine, and they swallowed the fairy medicine in desperation and flew to the sky. It was August 15th, and the moon was big and bright. Because of the disappointment, he stopped at the moon closest to the earth and lived in the Guanghan Palace. After returning home,Houyi felt a lot of pain, so He set up a banquet every August 15th to listen to the moon and the reunion of the people. He also followed suit and prayed for good fortune. Since then, the customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival to worship the moon have spread in the private sector.
The Mid-Autumn Festival began in the early years of the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,400 years. It is one of the oldest traditional festivals in China.
Influenced by Chinese culture, the Mid-Autumn Festival is also a traditional festival for some Chinese in East Asia and Southeast Asia, especially local Chinese.
